Eligibility

The KNRC Aerial Drone Competition is limited to middle-school teams and follows the current official RECF ADC rules.

Team requirements

A minimum of two students per team. Final eligibility, approved equipment, inspection, and mission rules follow the current RECF ADC manual.

  • Teamwork Mission · Two teams collaborate on the same field
  • Autonomous Flight Mission · Student-programmed autonomous operation
  • Piloting Mission · Student pilots complete the season challenge
  • Communications Mission · Interview and competition logbook evaluation

Rules & requirements

  • Teams must follow the current RECF ADC game manual and official Q&A
  • Drones, components, programming, safety, and inspections must meet the official season rules
  • A competition logbook and student interview are required for the Communications Mission
  • The KNRC General Rules published on the main website also apply
