Teams must include Kuwaiti nationals, or be composed of two or more Kuwaiti nationals to be prioritized for KNRC-supported advancement opportunities.
University teams may include students of any nationality. However, if a university team qualifies for the VEX Worlds Championship, the participating institution will be responsible for facilitating and supporting its students’ travel and participation.
Each team must consist of a minimum of two (2) members, as outlined in the National Robotics Competition 2025–2026 Guide. Specific category requirements (IQ, VRC, VEX U, Drones, etc.) must be followed.
Every team must have a designated adult supervisor/coach who is officially affiliated with the participating institution.
Organizations may register more than one team, provided that all teams meet competition requirements and registration remains open.
Teams may participate in more than one KNRC competition category, as long as event dates do not conflict.
If the number of registered teams exceeds the allowed capacity, KNRC reserves the right to request institutions to reduce the number of teams to ensure fair participation across the community.
A maximum number of teams per institution may be determined each season depending on capacity and demand.
A coach may not serve as the main supervisor for more than one team in the same competition category.
